Inhibitors of Histone Deacetylases
Introduction
Histone deacetylases (HDACs), also known as protein lysine (K) deacetylases (KDACs), are key enzymes that erase epigenetic and post-translational modifications (PTMs) of acetyl and fatty acid groups. We designed a series of novel, potent, and selective HDAC inhibitors that are active in various preclinical assays for cancer and migraine.
